Teirm

Teirm is encircled by a white wall a hundred feet tall and thirty feet thick. There are two main gates: one on the western side of the city, facing the sea, the other on the southern side, opening to the road. In the northeast sector of the city is a towering citadel, which housed the lighthouse. The city's buildings grow progressively taller from the outside in; the tallest buildings were near the citadel. As explained by Brom, the city was laid out in such a way that pirate attacks could be easily repelled. It is also stated by Jeod that the layout of the city also makes it easy for thieves to run along the rooftops. This measure was only added after Teirm was almost destroyed by one such attack. Jeod describes Teirm as a "small ocean town" which is pretty when it's not raining.

Feinster

Feinster is an Imperial port city wedged between Edur Carthugavë, or the tailbone of the Spine, the Jiet river and what appeares to be a wide bay. Feinster is governed by Lady Lorana. The keep of Feinster is tall and square and adorned with many towers. The roof is made of slate to prevent the castle from being set on fire. The city is surrounded by eighty-foot tall stone walls and a solid gate, which was guarded by wards.

Carvahall

Carvahall is a small village, home to several hundred people, located at the top of the Anora River in the northern part of The Spine in Palancar Valley. The village is the only settlement in the valley aside from Therinsford, and is rarely visited by anyone save for merchants and trappers. Most of the village is made up of stout log houses with low roofs and wide porches on their fronts for talking and conducting business. Every year, the Traders come to town and sell their wares to the villagers. After it was burned down by the Ra'zac, and after the end of the War, Nasuada gave the land here to Roran Stronghammer. He has since done his best to rebuild this town, along with the help of many other villagers who used to live here.
